Positive thinking!!

Hey everyone,

Hope you all are having a great day. I would like to share with you all the importance of positive thinking. Below is something I read everyday, check it out........

What is the answer to every difficult circumstance in life?
Take the positive path.
Choosing the positive path can be easy at some times in our life and more difficult at other times. When everything is going along well, when we are on a roll, choosing the positive path just flows through us as an easy, natural choice. When something negative comes along it can be far more challenging for us to choose the positive path. But choose it we must! No matter how challenging the negativity may be, there is simply no other way to bring our lives back into positivity.
If negative situations appear, you must use your will and refuse to lower yourself to negative thoughts, words, actions, and emotions. Use your will and decide that not only will you focus on the positive, but you will ramp up the positive in every thought, word, and action of your day.
It takes determination, strength, faith, and the power of your will to focus on the positive when intense negativity descends, but remember that the Universe and the law of attraction are with you. As you focus on the positive, focus more on the positive, think of the positive, speak of the positive, and take positive and good actions, the law of attraction will give your life wings. Suddenly you will look around you and you will find that the negativity has gone, and that your life has been filled with goodness and joy.

Post comp feed back.

Hello everyone,

It's been four weeks since I competed and now that I am in my offseason I must say that I was not big enough at the Europa. Yes my condition was spot on but I felt I over dieted as well. I think looking back over the last year I just choose the wrong shows and did to many shows in total. For example I made my Pro debut at the Montreal Pro in 2007 then three weeks later competed at the Spain show. Then had a few months off then back on the diet for the Ironman. Then after the ironman I had a few more months off then back on the diet for the Europa. Looking back now I wish I would of just took a year off after the spain show to add more size. But I wanted more succsess after placing so well in spain (top 6)

I can honestly say I took a step back on my physique, I never really had the time to make improvements from the Ironman to the Europa. I just wanted to make up for my placing at the Ironman. Yes you could say it is much harder to place in America but I just wanted to make an impact in the U.S. Again I am learning a valuable lesson that you can not keep doing show after show without having a good offseason. As I said before in previous blogs that I have not had a good offseason since 2004.

Seating here typing this I am so hungry to make my name in the pro ranks. I know hand on heart if I can pack on 10lbs of muscle in my next offseason then it is ON, I know my physique can handle much more muscle and size. I know what I have to do now and with Hany in my corner I feel next year can be great for me. In a wried way it is strange when you are a pro. In the amateurs I was winning shows since 2005 onwards then I turned pro and it feels like I have to start all over again. I remember at the Europa I was saying to myself "lots of call outs, lots of call out" when I finally got a call out I remember flex Lewis cheering me on as he was in the line up.

I am back training and not going crazy as my joints hurt but I am getting some amazing pumps.

Right now my weight is 240lbs. Yes I have had a few treats but I am now eating clean. I do feel at a bit of a loose end right now as I have to wait to the Mr Olympia is finished so I can get my offseason program from Hany who has a few guys and girls doing the Olympia. So harry up Hanny lol

I have been also getting a few emails from fans wishing me good luck for the Atlantic city pro tomorrow and just for the record I will NOT be competing lol. This man needs a off season with lots of food and sleep. I got a lot of growing to do.

Non Bodybuilding topic!!

Something for all of us to think about!!!

Two statements that will serve you very well. The first is: There will always be war. There will always be those who aggravate within others a sense of trouble in order to promote the solution that they already have their mind made up about. And so you're never going to come into agreement as a mass consciousness that this is "the way." There will always be disagreements; therefore, there will always be turmoil; there will always be war.
The other statement, that is our favorite is: Well-Being will always abound, so the dominant experience of the majority of people will always be one of Well-Being. So you can decide, at any point in time, in what part of this you want to play. You can use anything as your excuse to align with Well-being, or you can use anything as your excuse to not align. The thing that we think is at the heart of this discussion is my own personal power. We think that's what you are, sort of, struggling for and reaching for.

I will be back!!

Well it is four days since the show in Dallas Texas and I have had time to reflect. I cant be upset with my placing as I did everything I could do for this show. It was a staked show with the best pro's around. Again I am still learning as it was only my 4Th pro show. But I had a great time in Dallas. The people there are so friendly and it is very cheap too.
As for this week I taking some down time to rest and eat up a bit then next week I start my off season prep. I am also taking a whole year off competing. So I have a whole full year to add more size. In this time I will be working with Hany Rambod though out my off season. So I am looking so forward to seeing the improvements.
Thank you to all my fans who sent me emails when I was in Texas. I came back to over 100 emails from people who said I looked good at the show. Troy Brown is a fighter and never gives up. This game has a lot of ups and downs and it is the one who just keeps taking the hits comes though the champ in end.
Well I got to go and eat some well deserved pasta and a diet coke. But I will be putting progress off season pics on flexonline though out the year so stay tuned for that.

God bless you all and remember...Feel good!!!!!!

4 days to go!!!

Hi Everyone,

Well it is almost time to battle again. I am four days out and have one more training and cardio day left tomorrow then it is time to fill out and rest up for the big day. I must say I don't think I have ever worked as hard for this show. It has been a great journey and a long journey as well. But all I know is that I am ever so happy with the way I look. I just hope that Troy gets noticed and get some great call outs. But what ever happens I am doing what I love and going up against the best in world. I will dedicating this contest to my mother Ann Brown who passed away 12 years to the day. I love you mum.......I know you will be there with me in Dallas.

Again I must say thank you to all my fans, Friends and family for all your love and support. Troy is so ready!!! To my little Taz who has really looked after me this last week...you are my angel baby, I am ever so proud of you!!! I love you baby :)

One last thing before I go is that I love my son very much I hope one day you will understand and that you can be proud of your dad.

God bless everyone. I will pose my heart out on that stage on Friday. Nothing but 110% effort on the day.

14 Day's to go baby!!!

Hello everyone,

How are you all doing. I hope life is treating you great.

I am getting real close to the show now (14 days out) and still working extra hard to bring my sharpness though. So I been posing and squeezing my muscle alot. Even when I stand in the supermarket I am always squeezing my glutes and quads lol. I do get a few wried looks let me tell you. One thing I forgot to say in my last blogs is that for this show I used the the gauntlet for my cardio as I normally do power walking on the treadmill. I seem to burn much more calories on it. Plus time seems to fly by when using it. Right now I am not getting hardly any sleep as I up going to the bath room all night so I am pretty tried but it all wroth it as the thought of getting on another pro stage again makes me so excited.

All I can say is that I have worked so hard for this show, not just the last three months but since the ironman. I was back in gym the day after the show. So what ever happens in Texas I am going to have the time of my life and enjoy every single moment of it. I am living my dream doing what I love so it don't get any better than this.

I really think if you keep a positive mind set when getting ready for show it makes it so much more easier but the key for me is to always be happy and think happy thoughts every single day.

Again I going to thank the love of my life Meghan Mccurdy. We have both have been dieting together as she is competing in the biggest show of her life next weekend and to have someone work just as hard as you is so, so inspiring. Thank you baby for everything I can not thank you enough. I love you taz!!!

I will post again next week so stay tuned as I will be a week out.

God bless to each and everyone of you. May all your dreams come true.

4 weeks out from Europa Pro!!

Hello and good day to all of you.
I hope you all are safe and well and staying healthy!!
I am now 4 weeks out from the Europa Pro in Texas.
This will be my 2nd USA pro show and my 4th pro show in total. As always I would like to say that what I am doing now is my childhood dream and I am ever so thankful and grateful that I am able to this.
I am working very hard as ever. Really trying to bring my best ever condition to the table for this show. I am feeling very positive and happy. For this show I was in pretty good condition six weeks out so we have been really focusing on keeping me full as I have been getting a little flat in my muscles on this diet. I have been very constant on my cardio, diet and still doing my FST-7 training while dieting, which I have been following after the Ironman pro show in LA. I really hope to see a difference in my waist line this time as it was to big at the Ironman. My weight this morning was 220lbs. When I left for LA to compete at the ironman it was 228lbs so feeling a lot tighter this time round.
I just want to thank all my fans and family for all there support. Special thank you to my fiance and best friend, training partner, soulmate Meghan Mccurdy for all her pep talks and words of encouragement, I just want to thank you for believing in me. So 4 weeks out and feeling good but still not happy still have a lot of work to do.

God bless to you all and love life.

Troy Brown :)

Ps Feel good everone.
